Day 1: Arrival in Izmir

You are met at the airport by our Fortis Travel representative and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a welcome cocktail during a short briefing by your tour director on your tour program.

Day 2: Izmir-Pergamum-Thyatira-Izmir
In the morning, visit Pergamum (Rev. 2:12-17) and Asclepeion, home of the famous physician Galen. Continue to Thyatira
(Rev. 2:18-29, Acts 16:14), known for its guilds of artists in the time of St. Paul.

Day 3: Izmir- Ephesus- Izmir
Day 4 will be a day of unforgettable sightseeing. Explore Ephesus (Rev. 1:11, 2:1-7, Acts 18:19-28, 19:1-4) which was home of St. Paul between 54-57 AD and is considered to be one of the best preserved archaeological sites in the world. Sit in the very theatre where St. Paul preached. Visit the basilica of St. John where, according to the legend, is the home and burial ground of Virgin Mary.

Day 4: Izmir-Aphodisias- Laodicea- Pamukkale
Dedicated to the Goddess of love and once famous for its Sculpture School, Aphrodisias is an ancient city that dates back 2000 years. Spend the morning viewing an extensive collection of ornate statues and the remains of an ancient stadium. Then travel to Laodicea (Rev. 3:14-22, Col. 2:1, 4:13-16), one of the Seven Churches of Revelation. Later, relax in Pamukkale where cascading hot springs flow into limestone basins.

Day 5: Pamukkale-Philadelphia-Sardis-Izmir
In the morning, visit Philadelphia (Rev. 3:7-13). Then continue to Sardis (Rev. 3:16) in the afternoon.

Day 6: Izmir
On day 7, visit Smyrna, the last of the Seven Churches of Revelation (Rev. 2:9).

Day 7: Departure or any extension
Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
