Day 01 Arrive in Istanbul
Meet and greet. A short orientation tour. Then
transfer to the hotel for a welcome briefing. Dinner
and overnight. (D)
Day 02 Istanbul
Discover the Byzantine and Ottoman treasures of
Istanbul. Visit the Royal TOPKAPI PALACE, home of
the Ottoman Sultans, the BLUE MOSQUE, unique with
six minarets, the Roman HIPPODROME and the ST.SOPHIA
CHURCH which is considered one of the world’s
greatest architectural marvels. Evening at leisure.

Day 03 Istanbul - Troy - Canakkale
Drive to GALLIPOLI, through the European lands of
Turkey. Cross the Dardanelles Strait by ferryboat.
Visit ancient TROY, see its legendary walls and the
replica of the wooden horse. Dinner and overnight in
Canakkale. (B,L,D)
Day 04 Pergamon - Izmir
Visit the ACROPOLIS, the steepest theater of the
ancient world, the Temple of Trojan, Library,
ASCLEPION, the ancient healing center and the RED
BASILICA which is one of the Seven Churches of the
Apocalypse (rev:2-12). Evening at leisure. Overnight
in Izmir. (B,L,D)
Day 05 Ephesus - Kusadasi
Leave for EPHESUS, cradle of early Christianity (rev:2-1-7).
Visit the HOUSE OF THE VIRGIN MARY, the ancient
Ephesus, the ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM and the TEMPLE OF
DIANA which is one of the Seven Wonders of the
Ancient World. Return to Izmir. Evening at leisure.
Overnight in Kusadasi. (B,L,D)
Day 06 Kusadasi - Pamukkale
Drive to APHRODISIAS, the city dedicated to the
goddess of love. See the well preserved stadium, the
Odeon, the theater and the agora. Aphrodisias was
known throughout the ancient world for its
distinctive school of sculpture. Proceed to
Pamukkale , noted ancient spa, where pure white
travertine’s forms frozen waterfalls.for dinner and

Day 07 Pamukkale - Cappadocia
Full day’s drive to Cappadocia. On the way visit the
Museum of Mevlana, known in the western worl as
Rumi, the former convent of the Whirling Dervishes
and the great Islamic philosopher. Continue to
CAPPADOCIA where nature has scoured surrealistic
moonscape shapes and where the persecuted Christians
dug underground cities and churches during the 9th
century. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (B,L,D)
Day 08 Cappadocia
Today explore biblical Cappadocia with its
extraordinary chimney-like rock formations. Tour
Goreme with its rock churches decorated with
Christian frescoes. Then visit the Byzantine complex
of Zelve and the village of Avanos, which is famous
for traditional pottery. (B,L,D)
Day 09 Cappadocia - Ankara - Istanbul
In the Morning visit one of the region, Kaymakli or
Derinkuyu where early Christians sought sanctuaray
to escape persecution. Drive to Ankara to visit the
Museum of Anatolian Civilizations. Evening flight to
Istanbul. (B,L,D)
Day 10 Istanbul
Relax with a cruise on the breathtaking Bosphorus on
your last day in Turkey.In the afternoon explore the
famous Grand Bazaar (B,L,D)
